Default Here are some causes for a grinding wheelto fracture

1. Exceeding the maximum safe specified r.p.m.
2. Heat caused by friction of the work in contact with the wheel.
3. Tension caused by faulty assembly.
4. Work forced against the wheel.
5. Accidental damage to the wheel.
6. Imbalance caused by moisture.
